毕业典礼 Information for 莫斯科 教师

We are looking forward to University of Idaho 毕业典礼 in 莫斯科 on 5月11日星期六, 我们希望你能参加. Graduates based out of 莫斯科 and Coeur d’Alene will be split into two ceremonies. An in-person ceremony for Boise-based students will be Sunday, 5月19日, and Idaho Falls-based students will be honored Monday, 5月20日.

The 莫斯科 ceremony breakdown is as follows:

• 莫斯科 — P1FCU-Kibbie Activity Center. 5月11日星期六. 博士毕业生, educational specialist or master’s degree will attend the respective ceremony for their college.

9:30 a.m.

教师 members attending the commencement ceremonies should report to University Avenue between the Administration Lawn and ISUB Green, 穿着王室服饰, one hour prior to the start of each ceremony.

The Procession led by the Highland Bagpipes to the Kibbie Dome will begin approximately 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. The marshals will assist leading the procession west on University Avenue, across Rayburn Street to the Kibbie Dome. The two lines of faculty will split in half, forming one line for students to pass by as the student procession enters onto the floor of the Kibbie Dome. Playing of Pomp and Circumstance begins at the specified commencement time as students begin entering the field with floor marshals directing them to their seats.

As the final undergraduate students enter the field, Pomp and Circumstance will stop playing. This will be the cue for faculty to proceed to their seats as a video is played. After the video, the Highland Bagpipes will lead the platform party to the stage.

Once the platform party is on-stage, the color guard will proceed up the center aisle. As the color guard passes the rows of faculty and students, each row will turn and face the stage. A wind ensemble will play the National Anthem. The color guard will post the colors and the ceremony will begin.

Students will have the opportunity to shake hands with the deans or president and be photographed as they cross the stage. Doctoral candidates will cross the stage from the south side only, then specialists and master’s students will cross from both sides. Doctoral candidates will be hooded by their major professor on stage. Specialist and Master's candidates will need to arrive at the ceremony wearing their hoods. Undergraduates cross both sides, two colleges at a time. 教师 are welcome to congratulate their students at the bottom of the ramp as students exit the stage. 教师 can also help by encouraging students to remain through the entire ceremony.

因为有两个仪式, it is important that students and guests exit as quickly as possible to allow for time to prepare for the next ceremony. A formal recessional of graduates will be done through the west exit of the dome toward the parking lot while faculty and platform party exit out the east dome doors.
