The University of Idaho Faculty Gathering is a meeting for the purpose of supporting social relationships and intellectual interests. These get togethers further the educational, intellectual and research work of U of I by providing time and space for faculty to meet informally to exchange ideas, promote mutual acquaintance and fellowship among faculty of the university so we can get to know each other outside of the departments and colleges where we tend to spend most of our time. The Faculty Gathering can act as a catalyst for relationship building and collaboration among faculty across U of I.

Guests will receive a free drink ticket for beer, wine or non-alcoholic beverage and a no host bar will be available. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Who: The U of I Faculty Gathering is open to all U of I faculty — tenure track, non-tenure track and emeritus faculty. Faculty may bring a guest to the event (all guests must be 21 years old or older).

What: A Faculty Gathering is hosted by a college on the U of I Moscow campus or U of I center. It’s a time to meet other U of I faculty and their guests.

Where: The Faculty Gathering meets in a designated place on the U of I Moscow campus or U of I Center selected by the hosting college.

When: Monthly on a weekday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted during the academic year. The hosting College selects the date.
